She is the Founder of The Balm of Gilead Healing Ministries and Co-Founder of Lofty Heights Christian Ministries in Africa, Canada and the United States of America.  With about 22 years in ministry, Dr. Teresa’s experiences has resulted in a true passion to disciple others in love and to exemplify an open and honest relationship with God.

 Dr. Teresa has done ministries covering Prisons, Hospitals, counseling victims of Domestic Violence and substance use; coordinates a support group prayer meeting every month called “New Beginning’s” for a group she is very passionate about for women dealing with issues of “loss”.

She has been involved in intercessory prayer ministry on Healing, Restoration, Deliverance, prayer focus for the Peace of Jerusalem.  She teaches on Healing, and Restoration emphasis on “Recovery is Possible” and sponsors a free women’s conference to pour into the lives of women from all walks of life.  Dr. Teresa has more than two decades of teaching and counseling which enables her to reach others with humor, warmth, transparency and strength.  She uses real world applications of the the Word and personal experiences interwoven with humor and wisdom to helps others overcome challenges with the direct application of the scriptures.  She exemplifies and encourages living victoriously in the face of adversity, by daily study and worship.

 With a special ministry gift to reach into the lives of women, Dr. Teresa shows the reality of Godly living paired with Christ like humility and how to use faith to create change regardless of the difficulty.  Her style of teaching illuminates her trials and triumphs to teach, to lead, and to break the personal bondages that women commonly experience.

 She has started a series of books completing her two new books titled “Overcoming Challenges in the Journey of Life”, “Is there still Balm in Gilead”, “Am Still Standing” and “53 Golden Lessons Life Has Taught Me”. She recently co-produced her first CD, ” I live to Sing”.  She writes several columns and a contributory Editor to various Christian magazines and Newsletter.  Dr. Teresa is a mother, Author, Publisher, Teacher, Minister of the Gospel,  Motivational Speaker, Song Writer and Worship Leader.  She is host to two weekly Radio Shows – New Beginnings which broadcasts on AMFM 24/7every Wednesday at 3:30 pm and Power to Recover every Friday at 5:30 pm on FM 107.9 WEMM.  She is the Chancellor of New Beginnings Bible and Leadership Training Center.

 She is a Child Welfare Specialist, ABA Therapist and Life Coach.  After losing her husband due to complications from Traumatic Brain Injury after an automobile accident; Pastor Teresa is passionately involved with people and families dealing with Traumatic Brain Injury.
