New Show #223- Angela From Deafness to Purpose

I love meeting new people willing to let me in and share their “lemon to lemonade” experience!
This story is about Angela who was born with normal hearing but gradually she experienced hearing loss and was completely deaf by 20 years old. No idea was caused it. She thought she was flawed and broken. Angela later learned about cochlear implants and that amazing technology gave her her life back!  She started a nonprofit organization called Joyful Life Cochlear Implant Fund to help her fellow cochlear implant recipients with ongoing equipment costs, without which they would lose their hearing again. ABOUT the LemonAid Stand: Heidi started hosting the LemonAid Stand live radio talk show, over 20 years ago, in 1999! It all came about when Heidi was dealing with thoughts of suicide, inadequacy, and dealing with infertility. She realized as she reached out to others and heard their stories, she would be uplifted and inspired no matter what she was going through.
