Interview was done September 20, 2023! I love meeting new people willing to share their “lemon to lemonade” experience! This story is about Kelsey who had many lemon experiences. She was adopted at 24 hours old and had a rough childhood that included domestic violence and sexual abuse. She was involved in two accidents that gave her her first taste of opioids. She ended with drug court and the odds were against her to fail but she didn’t! Now she has dealt with her adoption trauma and childhood trauma.
