Steven McMorran From The Voice

Growing up in Little Rock, Steven’s father, a studio engineer, would bring him into the studio to sing background vocals/harmonies on tracks. After getting a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and on his way to becoming a doctor, Steven instead decided to pursue music and moved to Los Angeles. Steven made great strides writing songs for Celine Dion, Michael Bolton and others. He formed the band Satellite and released an album in 2013. Shortly thereafter, he moved his family to Nashville and began to write songs full-time. He has since landed cuts with artists such as Tim McGraw, Parmalee, Jimmie Allen, Joe Nichols, Nate Smith and Avery Anna. Steven, whose Instagram bio reads “professionally emotional,” aims to write songs that make people feel more in touch with who they really are.
