I’ve always been inspired by a shadow. During the rising of a new sun the shadow sits with me. The light always hits my page just right. I stop. I study the shadow. I’ve been known to take photos of the shadow. It proves I’m never alone. What is its world like? You know, like the image in the mirror. If but for a moment we could step into their presence, what would we feel? My heart tells me that their existence isn’t in the present,. A reflection is the past.
