Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for defamation due to an op-ed that she wrote for The Washington Post where she referred to herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.” He was asking for $50 million while she counter-sued for $100 million. Both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard alleged domestic abuse from the other.
