This second instalment of the two part services covering autism and mental health is one of our most eye opening episodes here on the Students of Mind podcast. Jayde sits down with Callie Niver and Kitten Friant–two adults who were diagnosed with autism later in life. Callie is a 20 year old student and writer, and Kitten is a 25 year old information security analyst. Both share their stories of what it was like to grow up with undiagnosed autism and how life changed after receiving a diagnosis in adulthood. We get to hear about the ups and downs of what it is like living as a neurodivergent person in a world that is built for people who are neurotypical.
