Award winning Film Maker Cindy Cowan talks about how COVID 19 has affected the entertainment industry

My guest is Cindy Cowan who just collected an Emmy Award for her amazing documentary Miracle on 42nd Street, a film featuring Alicia Keys, Terrence Howard, and Sam Jackson, to name a few. We talk about her film as well as how the COVID 19 pandemic has really slowed down all aspects of the entertainment industry.

Cowan is producing Eye in the Sky with Millennium Films, to be directed by Simon West (Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, The Expendables 2) and written by Richard D’Ovidio (The Call). Richard D’Ovidio is also attached to write True Haunting, a true tale of paranormal horror set up at Sony Pictures.

Additionally, she is working with Jeff Thomas (Wayward Pines, Blindspot) on Expiration Day, an elevated thriller for Crackle; and The Untitled Michael Marcum Story, a biopic about the first convicted murderer to be made Warden of a prison, is set up at Amazon Studios.
