E1 Suicide Awareness in First Responders

Suicide awareness for first responders is a sensitive topic that does not receive enough attention. Stress for emergency responders continues to increase as the demands of their daily workload increases. This increased stress is resulting in increased suicide rates among first responders. People are afraid to ask for help. By shedding light on the truth of PTSD and other related sources of stress, it is our hope that first responders find help by opening up about the struggles of working in this line of work.
