Ep. 91: From Zero to Hero: A 13-Year-Old's Journey to Launching a Podcast with Jacob #HeliumRadio

This Episode I take it to the basics of a Podcast, as if my 13 year old on Jacob was going to start his own podcast on his own. He joins me live in studio to discuss how to get started.  Podcasting is a great way for people of all ages to share their interests, opinions, and experiences with others. Starting a podcast can be easy, especially if you are young and tech-savvy. In this episode, we’ll discuss how a 13-year-old can start a podcast with ease. Step 1: Choose a Topic Pick a subject that you are passionate about and knowledgeable in. Make sure it’s something you can talk about for a long time and keep the audience interested. Step 2: Equipment You will need a microphone, a computer, and editing software. You can use a basic USB microphone and free editing software such as Audacity. Step 3: Record & Edit Record your first episode and edit it to your liking. You can add music, sound effects, and any other elements you like to make it more engaging. Step 4: Hosting & Distribution Choose a hosting platform like Anchor, SoundCloud or Buzzsprout to host your podcast and distribute it to various platforms like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and more. Ensure to comply with the terms and conditions of the platform you choose. Step 5: Promote your podcast Share your podcast on social media, and get your friends and family to listen and share. Join podcasting communities to find new listeners and network with other podcasters. Conclusion: Starting a podcast at a young age can be a great way to express yourself, share your interests and improve your communication skills. With the right tools and determination, anyone can start a podcast, even a 13-year-old.   Thanks so much for listening, I really appreciate it so much.
