The Giggling Granny Nannie Doss

In today’s episode, we are to talk about the dark deeds of a seemingly unsuspecting individual, Granny Nannie Doss. This case is the perfect example that the outside appearance doesn’t exactly show you what the inside is capable of. Nannie doesn’t look as terrifying as a man like Richard Ramirez, radiating evil, but on the inside, she is a dark and twisty mess. She had a very, very hard and abusive childhood so it is very hard to listen to her story and not feel some kind of sympathy for her. And that is okay! That is a normal, empathic human response. However, when we see her use those feelings and lash out and enact evil, then we can no longer feel sympathetic to her plights. Hang on for this wild conundrum that is Nannie Doss.
