Journey With Me Through ADHD: A podcast for kids

ADHD IS A JOURNEY
Is ADHD impacting you or your child’s life and it’s hard to know where to turn? The struggle is so real and I can empathize that it surely is a lifelong journey to navigate. I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 10. It left me feeling very alone and different. I struggled with reading as a child, which ignited my desire to become a Reading Specialist, to face this weakness head on and to turn it into a strength. I wrote this book and my brother drew the illustrations, based on personal experiences.

To build my credibility, I’d like you to know that I am a Certified Early Childhood/Special Education Teacher and taught for 7 years before choosing to stay home to invest in my 4 little blessings. I do continue to use my masters as a Reading Specialist to tutor children of all ages, with a variety of needs. My dream is to become an ADHD life coach. I have a deep passion for working with children who are struggling to know that they are not defined by their diagnosis. I want children to feel empowered to find strength beneath the struggles. I also want parents, siblings, educators, and peers to be fully educated and encouraged to see more clearly through the lens of ADHD!
