A consummate Pharmacist and touted “De-prescriber”

Chad R. Worz is the co-host of SenioRx Radio, a collaboration between the Pharmacy Podcast Network and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists.

Chad received his Bachelors of Science and post-B.S. Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati in 1996 and 1998.

He immediately went to work in senior care and has developed an innovative, clinical senior care pharmacist practice.

In July of 2007, Chad established Medication Managers, LLC, whose mission is to educate and serve the senior population, nursing homes, long-term care pharmacies, the developmentally disabled and the public through a comprehensive knowledge of medication use, geriatric pharmacy and the systems that manage the pharmaceutical care of the elderly in the United States. www.medicationmanagers.com

In July of 2015, Chad established a partnership with a technology company and formed RxConcile, the nation’s first live, pharmacist counseling application for use in discharging skilled nursing facility patients.   www.rxconcile.com

Medication Managers, LLC and RxConcile have expanded to provide consulting services to over 35,000 nursing home, assisted living and developmentally disabled residents in 30 states.

In 2016, he was awarded the Arthur C. Glasser, Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Cincinnati, College of Pharmacy where he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice and a member of the Dean’s Executive Advisory Board.

He is President-Elect for 2017 and Board Member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. www.ascp.com

He even has broadcast experience as a former radio show host of “Ask the Pharmacist” on 55KRC which ran for 3 years in the Cincinnati area.
